Indications/Uses

Restoration & maintenance of circulating blood vol where vol deficiency has been demonstrated.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Individualised dosage. Administered by IV route.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Discontinue if allergic or anaphylactic-type reactions occur. Decompensated cardiac insufficiency, HTN, oesophageal varices, pulmonary oedema, haemorrhagic diathesis, severe anaemia, renal & post-renal anuria. Ensure adequate hydration of the patient. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Rarely, anaphylactic reaction, hypotension.
